Privacy Policy for property-pluzz
Effective Date: 12th February 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Pluzz LTD ("Pluzz UK," "we," "us," or "our") and its parent
company Pluzz FZC ("Parent Company") collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Propertypluzz is a platform owned by Pluzz FZC (UAE). However, for all users residing in or
accessing the Platform from the United Kingdom, Pluzz LTD is the Data Controller. This means we are
responsible for deciding how we hold and use personal information about you in compliance with UK
data protection laws.
2. Data We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide property listing and management services:
- Identity Data: Name, title, date of birth, and gender.
- Contact Data: Billing address, delivery address, email address, and telephone numbers.
- Technical Data: IP address, login data, browser type and version, time zone setting, and location data (hosted on AWS).
- Profile Data: Your username, password (encrypted), interests, preferences, and feedback.
- Usage Data: Information about how you use our website and services.
3. How We Use Your Data (Lawful Bases)
Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a Contract: To register you as a new customer and provide the Platform services.
- Legitimate Interests: For fraud prevention, platform security (via AWS), and improving our services.
- Legal Obligation: To comply with UK tax, anti-money laundering, or regulatory requirements.
- Consent: Where you have opted-in to receive marketing communications.
4. International Data Transfers (UK to UAE)
The Platform is owned by Pluzz FZC in the United Arab Emirates. As a result, personal data collected
by Pluzz LTD in the UK may be accessed by or transferred to Pluzz FZC for technical support,
platform administration, and corporate oversight.
Because the UAE is currently not deemed to have "adequate" data protection laws by the UK
Government, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of
the following safeguards is implemented:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) / International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA): We use specific contracts approved by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) which give personal data the same protection it has in the UK.
- Intra-Group Data Sharing Agreement: We have a formal agreement between Pluzz LTD and Pluzz FZC that mandates the Parent Company to treat UK user data according to UK GDPR standards.
5. Third-Party Hosting (AWS)
The Platform and its data are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Data for UK users is primarily stored in AWS regions within the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA) to ensure high levels of security and compliance.
- AWS acts as a Data Processor, and we have a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) in place to ensure they maintain strict security protocols (encryption at rest and in transit).
6. Data Sharing
We may share your data with:
- Pluzz FZC: For centralized administration and Platform development.
- Service Providers: Such as payment processors, IT support, and cloud providers (AWS).
- Professional Advisers: Lawyers, bankers, and auditors based in the UK or UAE.
- Regulators: The ICO (UK) or other authorities if required by law.
7. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being
accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal data
to those employees, agents, and contractors (including those at Pluzz FZC) who have a business "need
to know."
8. Your Legal Rights (UK GDPR)
As a UK resident, you have rights under data protection laws, including:
- Request access to your personal data.
- Request correction of your personal data.
- Request erasure of your personal data ("Right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing of your personal data.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Request transfer (Data Portability).
- Right to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, please contact our UK compliance team at contact@propertypluzz.co.uk
9. Complaints
You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO),
the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). We would, however,
appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the ICO.
